The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone is firmly linked with the vehicle's electric system and is operated via its own SIM card. For example, with the twin card of an existing mobile contract. Alternatively, a separate mobile contract with a new card can be taken out for the vehicle. In this way, the vehicle can be reached at any time – regardless which driver is sitting behind the wheel. Perfect for vehicle fleet managers or forwarding agents who would like to optimally control the use of their vehicles. Anyone who wants to keep track of telephone costs in the process can of course also use the BURY CP 1000 CarPhone with a prepaid card.

A car phone with voice control which is unique worldwide

The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone's unique features include the tried and tested DialogPlus voice control. Thanks to its high precision and particularly fast response word recognition, all telephone functions can be optionally voice controlled. The groundbreaking development from BURY is unrivalled in its quality and reliability to date: even without prior voice training and with speeds over 180 km/h, the BURY CP 1000 CarPhone still understands 95% of all voice commands. Furthermore, functions can be selected in the standard way using the operating unit key pad.

The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone is usually connected with the vehicle's sound system. This ensures excellent sound quality throughout the vehicle. When making phone calls, the radio automatically switches to mute. Incoming calls are shown on the display and audibly signalled via the loudspeaker. In the process, the caller's name is given. If the caller's name is not saved in the directory, only the number appears in the display. The call can be accepted or refused by voice command. Calls can also be automatically accepted.

Convenient operating controls

The particularly user friendly designed operating controls have a large keyboard and a crystal clear 2.5 inch display that is easy to read in all types of light. The already almost proverbial BURY material quality and workmanship ensure long-lasting delight when making phone calls. The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone supports all mobile network operator convenience functions such as inquiries, teleconference and much more. The operating unit has an SOS button. In the case of an emergency, a previously stored telephone number is dialled – for example, the dispatcher's or ADAC'S number. In addition to speed dialling options, BURY CP 1000 CarPhone also has a FDN call number limit (fixed dialling numbers). This means that only previously stored telephone numbers can be used by the SIM cards. Direct dialling from the telephone contacts is then no longer possible, helping to save on telephone costs. The operating unit is installed in the vehicle and can no longer be removed. The advantage: the device is ensured in the event of theft.

Incoming SMS messages are not only shown on an easy to read display. On request, the BURY CP 1000 CarPhone will read every message out loud. Clearly, understandably and in the best sound quality. The driver's gaze remains on the road in the process.

Activation via the "magic word"

In order to activate the BURY CP 1000 CarPhone voice command, the utterance of a previously defined "magic word" is all that is required. Afterwards, the driver only has to state the telephone number or the name of the person to be called which is listed in the telephone directory and the connection is already established. This works even for complicated names or fast number sequences. If the driver himself has problems with pronouncing long or complicated names, he can assign a nickname to every telephone directory entry.

The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone can save important notes or messages as a voice recording. The recording and retrieval function just as simply as an answering machine's memo function. This means that the driver can be reminded of important things by the BURY CP 1000 CarPhone – or leave messages for other vehicle users. In this way, several vehicle users can exchange messages.

Handsets for private conversations (from 2012)

The BURY CP 1000 CarPhone can be optionally equipped with a handset. This makes it possible for passengers, for example, to have telephone conversations without other people in the vehicle being able to hear. As soon as the handset is removed from the holder, the active conversation is diverted from the vehicle loudspeakers to the earpiece.

For use at the rear, another particularly high quality version of the handset equipped with telephone functions will be available very soon.
