BURY, guided by the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS), also includes environmental inputs in its operations. The result of this pro-environmental approach is last week’s Sustainability Tree Planting – Planting a Forest campaign. It was established at the initiative of the Board of Directors and initially targeted BURY executives and managers.

On October 2, on a Saturday, which was a beautiful autumn day, a group of volunteers consisting of more than 30 employees, under the guidance of Forest District Manager Hubert Sobiczewski of the Mielec Forestry Division, planted half a thousand linden seedlings in the forest in Szydłowiec, completing the planting in the larch-oak stand. Ms Bernadetta Dzik, the President, and Gabriel Buchała, the Vice President, also willingly joined the action of planting the forest. This beautiful initiative ended with a bonfire attended by everyone involved in the activity.
