COOPERATION
WITH RESEARCH CENTERS

Considering the great importance of practical vocational training in the educational process of students, BURY is eager to engage in cooperation with local schools and universities.

BURY SOFT AKADEMIA

BURY’s innovative educational initiative

Skilled programmers are undoubtedly one of the most sought-after groups of employees in technology-oriented companies in recent years. The number of software graduates, although steadily increasing thanks to the efforts of the academic community, is still insufficient in relation to the needs of today’s market.

That is why BURY Sp. z o.o. has decided to launch its own innovative educational project, called BURY SOFT ACADEMY, directed towards company’s employees who want to gain qualifications in programming.

Thanks to the cooperation of the Company’s Management Board and the Center for Practical Education and Teacher Training in Mielec, participants in the study have the opportunity to acquire the competencies necessary for software engineers developing software for embedded systems dedicated to the automotive industry, in order to join the ranks of the Company’s Electronics Development Department, which is constantly being expanded.

The curriculum of BURY SOFT ACADEMY, in consultation with didactics from the Center for Practical Education and Teacher Training in Mielec, was created exactly to fit the needs and specifics of BURY. In 2021 and 2022, 40 company’s employees took advantage of the opportunity to retrain their professional profile through participation in the BSA.

Education

The cooperation, aimed at shaping competencies among future employees in line with the needs of today’s automotive industry, is implemented primarily through the organization of internships and apprenticeships at BURY, as well as the company’s support of events promoting education, especially training in the technological sciences.

Experts employed at BURY in the fields of electronics, mechanics and mechatronics, as well as quality management in production, participate in scientific conferences that set the course for the industry.

Our company is open to cooperation with other universities. Currently, there are ongoing negotiations with Kielce University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.

Cooperation with Rzeszow University of Technology

Since its beginning, BURY has been cooperating with the Rzeszow University of Technology, which is characterized on a national scale by the dynamic development of education faculties and a highly qualified staff of academic teachers.

Cooperation has led to excellent results, especially for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Rzeszow University of Technology. It allows for supporting the University’s projects and activities through the participation of BURY employees in consultations, practical classes and didactic presentations for students, as a system of internships offered to students.

Together with the University of Technology, tests are being performed to determine the level of emissivity (EMC) of products that are used in electric vehicles.

The fact that University of Technology graduates find employment in the company only confirms that cooperation between business and education can bring tangible benefits to both sides.

The most important projects in cooperation with Rzeszow University of Technology:

1. Agreement dated 04/12/2017 concluded on the principles of organizing professional and diploma internships.

2. Implementation of the dual degree project at the Rzeszów University of Technology ” Automation Engineers for Industry 4.0″. Funded by the National Center for Research and Development.

3. Implementation of the project “Electronics for the automotive industry” under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Social Fund.
