Grand opening of relaxation area

Data: 25 March 2024

For many years, BURY has successfully continued its cooperation with Rzeszow University of Technology – the largest technical University in this part of the country. Much of the credit for this goes to Dr. Roman Tabisz – supervisor of the Six Sigma Academic Circle, from which many talented graduates of the University, later employees of BURY, were recruited. Over the past few years, our company has noticeably intensified its efforts to build a positive image. That has been expressed, among other things, in numerous presentations and study visits of our employees to the University, the implementation of joint industry and internship projects, the continuation of cooperation – this time with the Racing Team circle. The only thing missing was a strong accent in the form of a permanent BURY image element in the University’s facilities. Our reconnaissance in 2022 and subsequent discussions with the deans of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Rzeszow University of Technology resulted in a fantastic outcome. In opposition to offers from other companies cooperating with the University of Technology to equip more classrooms, we proposed to arrange the main entrance to the building of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The effect, both practical and branding, is undeniably outstanding. The so-called “Relaxation Area” equipped with comfortable couches and sofas with sockets for charging laptops and tables with built-in devices of our production (USB HUBs and inductive chargers) is besieged not only by students of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, but also others. Our initiative was recognized by the Authorities of the University, who, headed by the President of the Rzeszow University of Technology, Prof. Piotr Koszelnik, on March 20, 2024, performed the grand opening of the “Relaxation Area”.

The ceremony was attended by: BURY Chairman of the Board Bernadetta Dzik and Vice Chairman Gabriel Buchala, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering Prof. Roman Zajdel, Vice Dean Prof. Piotr Bogusz, and University Chancellor Andrzej Sowa.

The ceremony was an opportunity to discuss future cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
